Todays thought is about Surrender. We thank Minister Jacqua Williams for sharing her reflection with us today. I apologize I have not had time today to committ to a reflection with being out yesterday afternoon I have been swamped with extra responsibilities. But it is always a blessing to receive a Word, tresures of Life from another Sister in Christ. So below are the words Jacqua has shared with us today. Thank you for your willingness to minister the Word.!
As I watch the leaves turn gold, red, purple I am reminded that all things have to surrender in order to be made new again. God created the seasons to surrender to each other so the earth can renew itself in what we call spring.
I can say that I am definitely in the fall/surrender season of my life. I have had to let go of a lot of leaves. Some leaves are called selfishness. Some are called pride. Some are called arrogance. These leaves have to go to give way to the winter/frozen season as I lay dormant and wait for a new spring/awakening season. The question is what do I do in that winter portion of life? I build a relationship and a relatingship with my heavenly Father. That's called fellowship. We meet at the same time everyday just to chill with each other. We laugh, we cry, we hope, we hang on with diligence waiting for the word to Spring forth and awaken us to newness of life. He abides with me and I abide IN Him, quietly listening and learning. I pray for you that this surrender time will be fruitful and cause you to multiply/increase/enlarge all the territories of your life.
